We’re Drew and Tracy — For over 20 years, we’ve lived in Hunterdon County—raised our boys here, walked the winding trails, shopped the tiny boutiques, and eaten at nearly every riverside restaurant. Still, every day feels like a bit of a getaway.
Now, as recent empty nesters, we’ve been rediscovering the river towns we love with fresh eyes—slow mornings, spontaneous road trips, and a deeper appreciation for all the beauty tucked into every turn.
There’s something about this stretch of river—its charm, its people, its hidden gems. What started as weekend wandering became a passion project to connect locals and visitors to everything we adore: the cozy cafés, family-run shops, unforgettable meals, and inspiring creatives that make this Loop magical.
The River Loop was born from that feeling.
A curated guide to the places that make life along the river feel so rich, rooted, and real. It’s how we experience our home—and now, it’s how we get to share it with you.
We’re truly honored to welcome you into this world we love so much—from our morning coffee spots to our favorite date-night tables, this is our personal collection of Loop-worthy places.
Whether you’re planning a weekend or planting roots, we hope The Loop leads you somewhere wonderful.

Hi, I’m Tracy - a lifelong creative, designer, and visual storyteller with a love for charming towns.
My journey started in the world of marketing and graphic design, where I spent years crafting brands, designing everything from event invitations to visual identities, and helping businesses tell their stories through thoughtful, beautiful design. That path eventually led me to launch White Palette, a luxury design studio focused on custom wedding invitations, branding, and curated creative experiences.
With The River Loop, I get to blend everything I love — storytelling, design, community, and adventure — into one beautiful experience. This project is more than a guide — it’s an invitation to slow down, explore intentionally, and support the vibrant communities that make these towns so special. It’s a love letter to the places that inspire me most — told through design, words, and imagery.
I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s take the scenic route together.

Hi, I'm Drew – Chief People Person & Builder of All the Things.
With a background in sales and a natural love for connecting with people, I’ve always believed that strong relationships are at the heart of everything. That’s exactly what I try to bring to The River Loop — a sense of community that feels genuine, welcoming, and just a little magical.
But I’m not just a people person — I love to create with my hands too. I’m the kind of guy who dreams something up and then builds it from scratch. I designed and built the back deck and front porch of the 1860s farmhouse I share with Tracy and our boys. I’ve won Clinton’s pumpkin carving contest more than once (yes, it’s a thing).
At the end of the day, I’m all in — whether I’m building something new or scouting out the next great river town spot. The River Loop is more than a project for me — it’s a way to connect, to create, and to celebrate everything we love about these communities.
