We’re Drew and Tracy — for over 20 years, we’ve called Hunterdon County home. We raised our boys here, walked the winding trails, shopped the tiny boutiques, and eaten at nearly every riverside restaurant. And somehow, after all these years, this corner of the world can still feel like a getaway.

We’ve spent countless weekends exploring the river towns we love—taking the back roads, discovering somewhere new, and finding more reasons to appreciate everything that exists along this stretch of the Delaware.

There’s something about these towns—the history, the people, the independent businesses, and all the unexpected places tucked along the way. What started as simply exploring where we live grew into a passion for connecting locals and visitors with the cafés, shops, restaurants, farms, makers, and people that make this area so special.

The River Loop grew from that love.

A curated guide to experiencing life along the river—from where to eat and shop to what to do, where to stay, and the stories behind the people and places shaping our towns.

It’s how we experience our home—and now, it’s how we get to share it with you.

Whether you’re planning a weekend, looking for somewhere new, or lucky enough to call this area home too, we hope The Loop leads you somewhere incredible.
