October brings the river towns into their most beautiful season. Brilliant foliage, crisp mornings, farm fields filled with pumpkins, vineyard afternoons, and Main Streets dressed for fall set the scene for a month filled with festivals, markets, live music, art, food, and seasonal celebrations. From Hunterdon to Bucks, our October Events Guide brings together a curated collection of what’s happening across The Loop—from harvest weekends and fall festivals to vineyard events, local markets, live performances, and Halloween traditions.

Paint, Pour and Porch Decor at Langhorne Brewery & Martini Bar

Lurking in the Shadows at the Haunted Red Mill (Clinton)
Get lost in haunted mazes and trails before taking a creepy hayride along the river and venturing into the reportedly haunted Red Mill. October 2-24

Crafts, Brews & Books with Odd Bird Brewing x Howling Basset Books (Stockton)
Create a book-inspired craft while sipping craft beer at this new craft-focused book club. The first gathering features The Binding and a marbled-paper notebook project, from 11am–1pm.
Wild Fern Oktoberfest at Wild Fern Brewing (Frenchtown)
Celebrate Oktoberfest with live music, German beer, local food, stein-holding contests, beer poker, and the release of Harvest, their Festbier. Music runs 3–5pm and 7–9pm.
Harvest Celebration at Unionville Vineyards (Ringoes)
Toast the end of harvest from 12–5pm with live music by Free Soil, Italian food, vineyard walks, and wine.
Oktoberfest at Readington Brewery (Neshanic Station)
Raise a stein for Readington Brewery’s 5th anniversary with live music, German beer, stein-holding, goat races, and more. The celebration starts at noon.
Doylestown Porchfest
Wander Doylestown’s streets for a free day of live music, with more than 85 performances happening across 28 front porches.
Apple Fest & The Craftery Market (Dublin)
Celebrate with apple-inspired treats, specials, shopping, and fun throughout Dublin Town Center and The Shops at The Square.
Bensalem Family Fall Festival
Bring the family for rides, games, animals, food trucks, vendors, live entertainment, an evening concert, and fireworks.
Fall Harvest Tour (Morrisville)
Tour Snipes Farm, meet local farmers, and sample autumn produce while enjoying a scarecrow scavenger hunt, farm animals, hay pyramid, and playgrounds.
Newtown Historic Market Day

Octoberfest at Playwicki Farm (Feasterville)
Head to Playwicki Farm from 12pm–4pm for food trucks, a beer and cocktail garden, DJ, pony rides, moonbounces, vendors, crafts, and more.
Oktoberfest at Vault Brewing (Yardley)
Enjoy German-inspired food, live music from the Tom Trovas Trio, and craft beer served in Vault Brewing steins.
D&L WineFest (Newtown)
Raise a glass to America250 with local wine, beer and spirits, live music, artisan vendors, historic reenactors, and food at Crossing Vineyards.
Fundraiser A La Mode at Ironbound Farm (Asbury)
Dig into fire-grilled apple sundaes while supporting local farmers affected by spring frosts. Pumpkin picking and painting runs from 1–4 PM, while the ice cream fundraiser lasts all day.
Burnt Mill Potters' Artisan Market (Whitehouse Station)
Shop pottery, crafts, and artwork while trying hands-on activities like pottery wheel throwing, candle making, bracelet stringing, and more. Admission and parking are free.

Autumn Tabletop Arrangement at Federal Twist Vineyard (Stockton)
Create a fall tabletop arrangement while enjoying a full wine tasting and personal charcuterie. The workshop runs 2–3:30pm.
Perkasie Fall Festival
Spend the afternoon enjoying food, vendors, live music, games, pumpkin decorating, farm activities, rides, and more from 12pm–4pm.

Rock for the Red, White & Brew: Charity Event for our Veterans at Readington Brewery (Neshanic Station)
Rock out for a cause with live music from Darren DeMarco starting at 3:00 PM, plus beer, food, a 50/50 raffle, and a fundraiser supporting local veterans.
Falloween Festival at Langhorne Brewery & Martini Bar
Get into the fall spirit with themed cocktails, seasonal drinks, music, pumpkin painting, kids’ activities, tattoos, and 20+ small-business vendors.
Orchard & Vine: The Great Fall Pairing at Crossing Vineyards & Winery (Washington Crossing)

Quakertown Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat

28th Annual Tewksbury Harvest Festival
Celebrate fall with food trucks, antiques, arts and crafts, live music, kids’ activities, a beer garden, and a car show from 12–5pm.

OctoberFeast at Peddler’s Village (Lahaska)
Spend the weekend with Oktoberfest-inspired food, lively music, activities, and a beer garden from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
Bucks County Wine Trail Harvest Celebration
Visit participating wineries for award-winning wines, fresh-pressed juices, and special harvest-season events throughout the weekend.

October 11
Gumbo Fest at Federal Twist Vineyard (Stockton)
Dig into wine, gumbo, and live music from the Gumbo Gumbas from 2:00–5:00pm. The festival runs 12:00–6:00pm, with admission of $10 for adults and free entry for children.
Angelus Wine Seminar w/ Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal at Cree Wine Company (Asbury)
Experience an intimate tasting of Château Angelus wines led by CEO and co-owner Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal from 4:00–5:30 PM.
Mischief on the River 5K (Frenchtown)
Run along the Delaware at this inaugural 5K, featuring a flat, scenic course for runners of all abilities. The race is limited to the first 225 participants.
Covered Bridges Ride 2026 (Erwinna)
Choose from five cycling routes ranging from 20 to 63+ miles, winding through scenic Bucks County and historic covered bridges before finishing with a picnic.

Celebrating National Pierogi Day at Federal Twist Vineyard (Stockton)

Flannel Fest at Conclave Brewing (Flemington)

50th Annual Historic Bristol Day
Celebrate Bristol’s history with live entertainment, tours, crafters, vendors, a car show, boat displays, children’s activities, and food along the Delaware River.

14th Annual FSHS Car Show (Lambertville)

Main Street Half Marathon (Clinton)

Scarecrows in the Village at Peddler’s Village (Lahaska)

Haunted Hayrides at Schaefer Farms (Flemington)
Brace yourself for 45 minutes of haunted hayride thrills, chills, creepy trails, and unexpected twists through 200 acres of haunted attractions. Hayrides run Fridays and Saturdays.
Movie Night at Doyle’s Farm (Flemington)
