September is the beautiful in-between on The River Loop. Summer days are still here, but cooler mornings, changing fields, and the first hints of fall are beginning to arrive. Barefoot afternoons give way to boots, harvest season begins, and the river towns shift into a new rhythm.
It’s a month made for both—one more afternoon by the river and the first trip to the orchard. Outdoor markets and harvest festivals. Live music and vineyard evenings. Art, food, farms, and plenty happening across Hunterdon + Bucks. We’ve gathered a curated collection of September events that captures the best of the season, from the final stretch of summer to the first signs of autumn.
